Breez and Phoenix work for paying to LN addresses just fine if you don't run a node.

I use BTCPay at home proxied through a VPS for clearnet exposure. It's fairly hacky and doesn't always work. If you run BTCPay on the VPS itself then it's much easier and reliable, but of course comes with tradeoffs.

Thanks - I’m not that advanced yet but am trying to advance, slowly but surely. I guess I meant to ask, while I can zap others with Breez (good), to receive zaps myself requires a ln address which forces me back to wallet of Satoshi (bad); and so how can I receive zaps in a non-custodial manner if I’m not ready for a node? Thanks!
