Incumbent system needed a multipronged strategy to distract & slow down the inevitability of Bitcoin.
One part of this strategy was to legitimize chosen shitcoins. Once bitcoin dies, the shitcoins can be turned off. As bitcoin lives, keep the shits alive to distract & confuse & rugpull.
