Nvidia and all those associated to the closed source OpenAI are looking to have a very rough week ahead in the markets.

The fact that all of this came out the very week StarGate was announced suggests to me there was some China coordination underlying the DeepSeek R1 release.

Or maybe I’m just paranoid.

The whole Stargate idea is a stupid waste of government (ie people's) money. "Creating jobs" by stealing money from people is taking away their agency and giving it to corporations. It just shows the government is the violent/coercive arm of the corporate/banking world.
