Faking, comes easy to some.
See the thing about understanding is that it can’t be forced.
And acting stupid doesn’t really impress since I missed the part how that is my problem. 
If I wanted to gaslight, I’d get into how extinction works, and going at it together makes that chummy feeling of togetherness hating the world around them in a passive aggressive way feeling false cored social constructs
