A robin just flew into the glass door hard and is now laying on the ground in a daze but still alive. I'm not sure if I should wait to see if it recovers or put it out of it's misery.

IDK about birds, but bees can look so dead and drowning in honey in a catch basin under the honey tank. I will rescue them, rinse them with water (briefly to get them moving from being honeybound). If tgey are in a dry place where the water can roll off of them, they will often begin moving. Then other bees will fly by and lick the remaining honey off of them. They have a chance at that point, who knows if they live after this. But often they are gone when I check, as if they flew off.

All this to say, I would leave the robin for a bit, to maybe revive itself. If it isn’t moving in 30 minutes ,,well…
