I'm thinking there is value because eventually we'll probably want spam models as another layer of defense (possibly for cleaning up public relays), and for that we'll need labeled data

So when I make a post, does my post automatically appear in “global” feed for every person on the Nostr platform all over the world? But… because there is so much “spam” in global, few—if any people, actually get to see my post? (Guessing what everyone calls “spam” is the aggressive & crazy looking Chinese symbol posts in global).

How does a user disable global?

… and if ya say that most users have global turned off (or disabled) is that maybe why I don’t have many followers compared to some new users that I notice get hundreds followers in only few days?
