Yes. I am somewhat surprised they didn't try the XBox/Playstation model of selling at break-even or a loss, then recouping on the software + content, but then, that's not the Apple Way.

If Steve Jobs is still here, I think he might have the balls to do it. He did it with the early macs, which got him kicked out of the company.

Imagine how he would introduce this product. Remember how he introduced the iPhone? I was blown away. A iPod, a phone, a internet communicator. What a powerful delivery!

I think he would. Both iPhone and iPad were pretty ahead of time. This seems like something he’d do.
