Anything that deviates from the P2P electronic cash goal should be rejected. Anything that improves this use case should be supported. Taproot is currently both. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. It needs to be fixed, but we should have a very careful and thoughtful discussion on how to proceed.

I enjoyed this, and he makes great arguments to not run the latest thing...

I updated my node a while back just so I could inscribe a blueprint of an AR-15 auto sear. Then I spent the inscription in a regular transaction just to put it into circulation.

My node has been offline for a while because my PC needs repaired, but when I get it to and running again I'm going to roll it back to stop supporting this nonsense.

he talks about being more "conservative" on change and that things start as "optional" but then eventually the true intentions of the changes become clear.
