What are your takeaways from the book, especially those that make you think it's undigestible by the modern slopmind?

I read it many years ago. I thought it was interesting that this sort of self-help book was needed in the first place. I suppose it is singing praises for The Gut Instinct/ Intuition, which you would think would be common sense, but has been sort of deprogrammed out of people. I think the book is disgeatable to the modern reader. I just wonder if it would be deemed 'problematic' amongst modern discourse lol.

I certainly couldn't see it being promoted to the extent it was. Your gut instinct is probably telling you all sorts which isn't comparable with a liberal world view lol. I live in Britain.

It seems like the liberal world view has constructed as much of a foam-dipped safety society as ever has existed -- how is that working out in Britain? Is it nicer knowing the distance you have to keep from getting knifed by a youth?
