I added a "Delete" button to nostr:npub1w0rthyjyp2f5gful0gm2500pwyxfrx93a85289xdz0sd6hyef33sh2cu4x and now I feel dirty helping perpetrate the illusion that you can ever really delete something on the internet

I'm tempted to at least put "Delete" on the menu (with quotes) 😅

"Request deletion" feels way too long

Technically every action on Nostr is simply a “request” that may or may not be honored. In a similar way, “post” is not guaranteed either.

With that in mind, I think it just needs more education and reframing

yeah, but you can prove the positive (writing) but you can't prove the negative (deleting)

Delete is a false impression, no matter what some nostr client devs may say.

You seem to have a lot of real estate to spell out Request Deletion!
