There’s a handful of second generation Escapes (08-12) at the Kenny-U-Pull yard nearest to you (approx 18m drive), all of which have front bumpers that fit your 09. As per most bumper covers it also only takes a handful of screws and bolts to get it off/put it on. How bad is the damage on yours? Can you drive it through winter and fix it in the spring? Or is this something you’d want to address immediately?

Damage is only cosmetic. My concern is going through the car wash and having the rollers get caught on the 1 inch gap and ripping it off or having snow and water get there and cause water damage over time. Im going to see how much they will charge. If its like $500 to fix. Ill just stick with them. If not we will go on adventure. These guys color match and everything

I mean typically water is getting behind there already, it’s not an airtight cover so I wouldn’t be too concerned on that front. $500 is not bad but also like hundreds more than it would cost to DIY. Plus your car is black so easy colour to find. Also this is a fix we could do still at this time of year, it’s just cold lol. Do you have a garage?

I dont

It’s too bad you’re so far, I have a garage we could use 🥲

Lmk what the auto shop says!

I can drive to you. Idk if ill be going to auto shop tomorrow. My dad who was going to take my car is sick right now

Oh shit, hope he feels better soon!
