Oh I wouldn't call it simple at all. In many ways, I see the feminine energy as being much higher (if you want to use that word) than the male energy. Women lead men (and more importantly, children) in the spiritual realm. Men lead women in the physical realm.
Both serve each other as well as a higher purpose.
