That is strange... Is it just my account? Maybe its some kind of a new feature on Amethyst? nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z Is this behavior expected?

We always show all hashtags. Looks like you are adding a bunch of them without linking in the content of the post. So Amethyst adds it for the user.

I can understand that posts including text copied from AI generated responses might have some hidden hashtags somehow. But on the posts with memes I literally only copy links from image hosting without adding anything else, but the additional hashtags are shown under them as well. Do you have an explanation for this in mind? Also maybe it might be a good idea not to show them by default? I don't think any other client does this.

If the tags are there in metadata, I would argue that showing them is a good and proper approach for Amethyst. Otherwise, I might think there is a bug in the tag specific stream I am subscribed to when I see your posts present without the tag.

I meant its Amethysts choice at the end of the day. If they are fine with their users experiencing NOSTR differently from practically any other client, so be it. In my particular case what is interesting is that those additional tags are unintended and are somehow included at some point of post creation through Shipyard.
