TBH I don't really care too much about this topic. I think letting the states decide is probably a decent pragmatic solution that should(yeah right) make most people happy
there's accounts of this being part of the wrong stuff that was going on in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, because the people were forbidden to allow them in and give them bedding and housing (for money of course) or do business with them, by their crazy laws
and since an embryo is mechanically growing out of a woman's body i think the "rent" argument carries no weight at all, because to get there a woman has to open her legs, and if it wasn't rape then she chose it and fuck that, it's murder
with many ways to prevent this occurring there is no reason for the use of the violent method to end a baby's life
it's like letting a baby into your yard that someone dumped there and not feeding them, than any other analogy, anyway... this human is otherwise without a guardian other than the mother, so the mother is kliling it, if she cuts it off from her blood supply
a moral society does not allow people to start human life and end it like this
in my opinion the right punishment for a woman getting an abortion is to give her a hysterectomy, then she can slut it up as much as she wants without getting pregnant, if she has the will to be a slut without her hormones
