For someone who has only a shower available (no bath and no space to get a cold plunge) do you have any tricks to maximizing exposure to cold?

Well mate, I know the feeling. I live in Greece off grid where even shower water isn't abundant and often too warm. That's why I'm on a hunt for natural cold plunge spots as you'll see on my YouTube 😄

If you have a very cold shower available, that's already fantastic. If water use is not a big concern, you can stand under an ice cold shower progressively for more and more minutes. This will prepare you very well! Then find a cold mountain stream to take it a step further. Or get one of these foldable bath barrels, pour cold water inside and get 5-6 bags of ice cubes for your special experience. If you feel the benefits and enjoy it, over time you can go for some better equipment. I prefer to keep it simple and go to natural spots as much as I can.
