Bitcoin lightning is not ideal as a scaling solution, self-custody UX and privacy.
Thats why I am pro drive chains.
Right but if large amounts are in cold storage
And small amounts for spending on lighting… I don’t see the problem
If thats how you wish to use bitcoin then continue to do so.
I would much prefer to have btc transactions end-2-end privately encrypted for true freedom using some kind of privacy sidechain.
