Are there more people than just you working on it? You’re getting great PR right now. Well done sir

One thing I think is important to understand is that almost the entire knots code base is the core code base. What Luke is doing are basically patches or changes to the code on top of the core code base.

I also think that having more people contributing to review his changes and maintain knots is a good idea though, so hopefully we'll start to see that as well.

Satoshi expressed concern about us running multiple implementations of the system and I think it was a reasonable thought that he had. So it is important that we're very careful as we start to see this diversity that everybody is clamoring for.

Super helpful, thanks.

Honest question from someone who has basic understanding of the technical, but is it possible for a majority to migrate to Knots, giving it’s devs the power to direct Bitcoin development?

Devs don't direct Bitcoin development, users do

Via BIPs similar to NOSTR NIPs

What about "if you are not a CON-trib-hute-hor you have no say. Sounds like you think that is invalid?

Oooor. perhaps... do we contribute by learning to run a node. Paying for the hardware. Installing the OS and other software. Making sure it is firewalled correctly. Configuring our parameters...
