And by the way, I'm constantly amazed at how good I am at spotting trends. No BS. I'll be using some model and wonder "is this really the best one for this job?" thinking everyone else has found something way better. But nope, turns out I'm actually right in line with the trend. I actually use Claude-3.7-Sonnet pretty often. And sometimes Claude-Sonnet-4 for coding stuff.
I don't set trends, but I sure can spot them. And pretty early on too.
That's how it was with other technologies in the past too; I always knew which ones would win out. Maybe I should become a tech trend advisor, is that even a job yet?
