Vietnam wasn't so bad, but opening my account in NZ was an eye opener. I can't believe they want to know so much these days 💩

It took me months to open account in NZ despite having permanent residency and BNZ’s “white glove service” helping me. It was an insane process.

Argh that's so terrible! It took me less than 20 minutes to open an account in Vietnam on a tourist visa 😄

Not super useful, but I need to try and experiment doing this in as many countries as I can 😅

I had to get an FBI background check for AML reasons in Aus before I could open a bank account here. Then sign a declaration that I didn't have any further accounts opened in the US. It's pretty crazy the submissiveness to US hegemony for an alleged sovereign nation.
