Why would a country ever use another currency privately minted by a random guy?

Do you think Putin thinks that’s a good idea? Do you think Xi think that’s a good idea? Or do you think that the Ayatollah thinks that’s a good idea? Do you think Kim Jong-un thinks that’s a good idea?

This notion that banks are going to use a coin that game theory assures will be co-opted and change at some point would be the dumbest and wildest and most entertaining scenario…
