Hello and welcome Maria, but thatās the fun partā¦ there is no delete on nostrā¦ sure maybe there might be an app that will allow you to delete the record of your note on on that app, but it will still be showing on the other apps and clients. Itās one way to tell who are bots and who are humansā¦ humans make mistakes sometimes, just make sure not to post stuff that you donāt want permanent.
The fact that deletion doesn't exist is only partially true; in fact all mayor clients support "request deletion" and even if a relay does not honor it, in practice it works very well.
On the other hand it is also true that if you post something online, anywhere, it should be considered public forever.
This makes you more responsible when posting serious things and, as you said, at the same time celebrates our humanity in small mistakes.

This only applies to celebrities and other public people.
For most regular folks that that delete regular stuff it really is gone for all practical purposes.
Yeah, I donāt think anyone is archiving posts published by a nobody like me.
