There is no defense for any of them. None of them are demigods.
If there are gods they would not choose any politician to back.

I don't trust 99% of them but there are those very few, like Thomas Massie from Kentucky, who I do admire. Anyone who stands principled on the tenant of liberty and freedom gets my admiration. No one should treat any politician like a godhead, but we can back those who believe in liberty and the rights of the individual.
