Remembering the time this liberal woman left USA to escape Trump and accidentally ended up in the whitest, most far-right country in Europe, and was shocked to find that everyone is lovely and she can walk by herself at night without fear of being raped or stabbed 😲

Poland based af

Ben, what countries would you recommend to live in for young freedom-seeking disenfranchised westerners?

My picks: Poland, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal... Bulgaria is nice for freedom of speech but the eu is destroying their markets, especially banks. Can you imagine a bank open 10-22 and anyone with eu passport can open account? Not since 2016. I couldn't even do it with a lease and employment contract in 2022 in Varna. Quit Bulgaria after that.

Cool, thanks a lot for the tips

i wouldn't know about other places, i think czech republic and slovakia and hungary are probably also pretty good, i had generally positive experiences in my brief times in them, hungary was ... idk... kinda fascist, but mostly cool

croatia might be ok too but i never spent any time there and i haven't met a croat i liked except a nice lady back in 2000 who used me as a model for a giant jesus painting in the croatian orthodox church in canberra (probably that painting is still there too btw, if anyone shared it on teh internet)

Slovakia is definitely a cool place! What about outside of Europe?

These countries are safer to live in than the US...

Kazakhstan, Botswana, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Tanzania, Cambodia, Bolivia, Liberia, Tajikistan, Angola, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, Turkmenistan, Senegal, Gambia, Algeria, Rwanda, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, Belarus, Nicaragua, Djibouti, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Honduras, Togo, Uganda, South Africa, Brazil.

Beside the high likelihood of getting killed. You can not find a place on earth where the chance of spending you life behind bars is getting higher.
