The US is once again disregarding the fundamental right for privacy. First, they go after the mixers, the obvious money transmitters. Even though they did just coordinate collaborative transactions for a fee.

I hope Craig Raw doesn't get attacked, he's such a great dude

I'm worried about this as well, also nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg could be deemed another money transmitter. Stay safe mate.

I don't run any services.

Apart from the "civilian use", I think that legitimate businesses can also make use ecash. There are many ways how this tech can be used in accordance with the law. This can include KYC during deposit and withdrawal for example.

Good Morning 🌞☕

I wonder when they will try to get to the miners

I don't think they will go after them. If they want to make Bitcoin the surveillance coin, they need miners.

I think 'they' need licensed miners

All the big US miners are already licensed.

I wasn't aware of that

I mean, you can buy their stonks, sounds somewhat licensed to me.
