CO2 is necessary and the levels we have now are no where near where they used to be when the whole planet was waaaaaay lusher.

I'm slowly learning more about that. But I do know that some localities have completely reversed the spread of the desert by several regenerative methods.
Correct. Regenerative practices do appear to have excellent, generational results, but those projects don't account for the total amount of greening being observed.
(That said, I'm fascinated by the regenerative techniques. I do live in a low desert)
