Replying to nobody

It’s a beautiful thing. My parents have been married 38 years. Yesterday they were sitting in the living room silent for about five minutes, and my mother randomly blurts out, “Shut up, ” and he starts laughing hysterically.

They can hear each other think. 🤯

We’re working on our 2nd year.. but talk 24/7… he’s my best friend so it’s like he’s already in my head 😂

I understand. Me and mine are getting there. Year three right now. We can read even one another’s stone face, and I swear she can tell how I’m feeling by the tone of the grunt I make in the morning.

We’re not at direct osmosis yet, but we have time to work on it.
