Updating my cyberhub routing node fee policy. The same fee policy as before, but instead of ratcheting down to 0 ppm, I ratchet down to 20 ppm. More info on my website under Node Info.

The reason for the fee change is because my APY is falling off a cliff, while my transactions routed are holding pretty steady. I suspect zapping is to blame. If I had to guess, I'd say the predominant lightning network behavior has shifted from plebs managing their liquidity to plebs using Nostr.

I'm curious to see how my routing data is affected by this change going forward. I'll be sure to post chart updates here on Nostr, as well as any additional fee strategy thoughts.

Hey how’s it going so far after one day? I definitely notice a big change on our channel as routing events in are down 92%! I now may need to up my fees out and even try to rebalance over yours but let’s see…. be great to get the sats flowing again ⚡️

Overall a slight improvement, but too early to tell.

yesterday -> today

transactions routed

1710 -> 1540

BTC routed

1.987 -> 1.995

sats profit

11,345 -> 15,419
