There is nowhere better to go. Every other country is either captured, vulnerable, or on the verge of fiscal and population collapse. This is the 4th Turning. Go where there are the most people able to take care of themselves and have the most resources. Central and South US are pretty much it.

Seriously? Maybe not on the e or w coasts or in the cities, but the US is still full of some of the most self-sufficient people in world.

Sure. But the total population of not self sufficient people in the US as a whole is leaps above any other country.

Even if you look at it on per capita basis, it's probably contending for #1.
