Itβs an over simplification, but essentially 4 nodes or companies or pools, whichever you prefer, dictate which transactions will be included in the next block.
IMO, this is a problem that we should try to solve before we test our βcensorship resistance.β
Pools are made up of individual miners and can move to other pools, they are not slaves. If they start censoring and dictating what txn goes into a block, people will just move or create their own pool.
I suspect most of the hash pointed at the top 4 pools is not pleb hash, but βindustryβ hash. I donβt have the time or energy to try and prove that, but it is my feeling.
And I agree, βgame theoryβ should dictate lens move their hash, but they ARE NOT DOING SO!
If this was pleb miner hash, they should move some hash to Braiins or Ocean or any other small pool to help a bit.
The fact they have not, raises questions, no?
