it gets quite yawn how pervasive this russian trolls meme works. russians are much simpler once you get ot know them. they literally are not painting pretty pictures around anything. i don't get where that all comes from. i mean, maybe i'm weird but most of the russian art i see, ukrainian also, seems to be quite edgy by western standards, but in a deeper, more philosophical way. they aren't obvious, but they aren't inscrutable eiither. very pragmatic by nature.
