Great piece as always. nostr:npub13lkyycj8s3da6fhndtj0wd6s3s2ahmq86s7wrruvzd4tnc66cgfqn4lpsy what is the typical lifespan of a methane omitting landfill site?

Are we talking 10, 20 or 50 years?

I’m guessing it depends on the density, depth and overall volume of the site…..Love to hear more this point. 🙏

Generally more like 40-50 years.

Can be even longer.

From the point the landfill is closed it’ll still emit enough methane for powergen for another 15-20 years.

Awesome. Makes the numbers much easier to stack up on individual projects with that duration.
