What do you think of this? I honestly don't get it. People on #Reddit saying they make 90k plus a year and that they are living in poverty? Seriously? Id be stress and bill free if I made that much right now. What's going on here?

I don’t know I feel broke. My grocery bill just keeps going up.

Honestly…I can see it. I have no wife or kid and I definitely feel fairly broke in relation to things worth owning. Where I live, it is almost unattainable to afford a house without another income. I make more money than either of my parents ever did yet I cannot afford to live where they live.

Do you live in a high cost of living area like California or New York?

I get my satoshis every now and then and I'm very happy 😍

Do you also include your monopoly money in your collection of imaginary currency?

I never thought about this subject... I need to study a little more.

I’d be very comfortable on 90k a year but I don’t have a family to provide for.

same.

High paying jobs tend to be in expensive areas, the daycare and baby shit probably bumps their expenses significantly too.

They don't mention what their house interest rates are, that alone could take out up to half of their income.

300 a month for gas sounds insane too. It's all down to their individual circumstances, self inflicted in other words. I suspect they got a nicer house than they could comfortably afford, in an area that is a bit too posh for their budget and too far from their workplace.

I think I hear the world's smallest violin playing.

That's true. I can see this in New York or California for sure
