On August 15, 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu of Wallachia and his four sons—Constantin, Stephen, Radu, and Matthew—were beheaded in Constantinople after refusing to renounce their Christian faith for Islam. Offered wealth and high position by Sultan Ahmed III, they chose martyrdom. Constantin, strengthened by his father's unwavering faith, encouraged his younger brothers to stand firm. Their steadfastness inspired many Christians facing persecution, solidifying their legacy as defenders of faith.

Let us pray to the #MartyrsBrâncoveni, that their courage inspires us to defend #Christianity and uphold #OrthodoxTradition in our lives. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to live according to God's will. #Saints #Faith
