We are in Ukraine for a couple reasons. All of which center around oil and dollar dominance. In fact i would go so far as to say war in Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine were/are all a part of the same geostrategic long term plan to build an oil pipeline from the middle east, through iraq, syria, turkey, and ukraine, and to dismantle Russia as a competitive nation state. Something which has been discussed in Pentagon circles since around 1992.
