#asknostr ... here's an honest question related to shitcoin project (is that allowed here?)

On #cardano, there is a project called stuff that works with media... NFTs basically.

They've created something called ecentralized encrypted assets (DEAs).

Digital books are especially interesting to me.

Has anyone else checked out book.io ???

There is no "forbidden" topics but individuals might not like some specific topic and mute you themselves

As long as your content is not CSAM, no one will ban you from using nostr unlike in X/Twitter

I understand that. I was just being metaphorical or something.

I ask because it seems like a unique model for ownership that I haven't seen in other NFT book projects.

They seem to support owning the actual asset (epub) without supporting a centralized server while simultaneously protecting the author from unauthorized distribution.

This is the kind if thing that makes me think there may be quality utility in the cryptospace beyond bitcoin..

Of course, this may be possible via ordinals as well.

Cunning.

Cardano is a centralized AF shitcoin. NFTs are mostly a grift, avoid them.

You're not allowed to say anything here; you're free to say whatever you like. That's the power of Nostr.

That said no I don't touch shitcoins anymore.
