nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe what are your thought on Cathie Wood saying she’s more worried about deletion in America rather inflation?

She is talking about from the existing credit based system which would collapse under deflation as every counterparty claim fails - if let go for long enough.

#Bitcoin is a transition from that system.

Thanks. Do you think a transition from fiat to #bitcoin would be easier coming from deflation or inflation in a credit based system? Or similar?

Expect bouts of both and for different lengths of time depending on country. Ie It doesn’t matter what we want….the transition will be chaotic b/c there is no solution from the existing system while most people believe their is….so they will vote (or rise up) for their own self interests while making the problem worse.

If you’re measuring in #Bitcoin and you have flexibility to move, you are already living in the future.

Weimar experienced bouts of both, but ultimately succumbed to hyperinflation… is that the inevitable end of the road?

Attempting a transition within the same system seems comparative to attempting to rebuild - not renovate but entirely rebuild - an old dilapidated home and to do it just one room at a time…

Even if mostly confident that rebuilding that one room won’t affect or damage the surrounding house, you still can’t be absolutely sure given the rickety condition and the various generations of handiwork.

Bulldozing it definitely won’t go well, but does the chance of it collapsing with workers inside really sound like a better alternative?

Quite the predicament…
