I estimate about 70% of people are sweet and respond warmly to basic kindness or courtesy. About 20% are so caught up in their own problems that they don't appreciate moment-to-moment interaction. About 10% are cunts/assholes/psychopaths/etc.

Or maybe I'm an asshole 10% of the time
