what people don't understand - or pretend to not understand, is that "innocent until proven guilty" is a principle that applies only to GOVERNMENT GOING AFTER CITIZENS. they can't lock you up until they prove you are guilty. this is something written by people specifically to limit the power of government.

when it comes to individuals trusting each other it's actually GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT. because only an idiot would limit their own power.
