People will sooner believe in aliens than in a geocentric Earth, even though they have ZERO mechanisms for explaining how space aliens would get here from thousands of light years away, because they wouldn’t be using general relativity, which is bullshit as far as I’m concerned anyway, but I digress.

FE proponents could much easier explain away most of the questions posed. The funny thing is until they spend the time, they won’t get it, just like those who spend no time on Bitcoin who don’t get it either. Just dismiss it as crazy with zero thought.

I used to PMSL when approached re Flat Earth years back, than the Covid scam was so obvious it gave me a nudge to reconsider it again, the light switched on and a spinning fantasy ball went out the window. 🤓

Exactly the same experience here. I had a friend of a friend who was into FE years ago and I always dismissed it, I just never cared enough to consider anything. Then when you see someone who doesn’t use insane arguments to support the idea, it begins to have credibility, and covid lead me down the path.

I grew up catholic, became atheist and now I’ve trended back towards believing that something created us, it’s far more plausible than the other explanations to me. Then you look into origin of life research, learn that is all fallacious and the rabbit hole just gets deeper and deeper.

Modern science has totally turned into a religion; you have to believe everything without question or else you’re a “denier”.

I find it interesting now going back over old stuff I watched growing up and seeing how I were “programmed” by the “TV Programming”. Key name drops of things stand out like a sore thumb in the middle of conversations which add no context to anything else within the show.

My discovery killed 99% of any enjoyment I got from movies and tv series, I can’t watch most things now without seeing the obvious.

Only positive things have come from this in my experience.

Likewise. One TV Show that it didn’t effect for me however was Baywatch. Managed to get over 1 TB saved of each and every episode from RARBG before they took offline, that show is still enjoyable LOL
