Is that for self hosted images?

No, just images. I’m posting them via lumina.rocks - they’re hosted in different places and served from blossom servers. I could add a link to the note as a ‘note’, but then some clients would show duplicates. I’m just trying to do it the correct way.

I believe YakiHonne supports Blossom servers. I guess I don’t know what kind 20 is.

Kind 20 is just the nostr type for an image that is the primary content, as opposed to the message being primary.

Like what Olas does?

Yes, but Lumina actually does it.

I haven’t used Olas in a while bc photos I posted there showed in Damus as links instead of images. Think I started using Nostur after that.

Olas is unusably broken.

Will check out Lumina

That's exactly what kind 20 is.

You can store the images wherever you want and then craft a kind 20 event.

Kind 20 is picture-first

Kind 1 ist "normal" notes

nostr:npub1fq8vrf63vsrqjrwqgtwlvauqauc0yme6se8g8dqhcpf6tfs3equqntmzut may be able to better explain this. He wrote lumina. It could just be a relay thing, I'm not sure, but it would be nice to be confident that these were getting out to all the major clients.

Yeah, always discovering and learning new things with Nostr.

Yep, images posted on LUMINA will go out to all other relays/clients.

But damus for example does not support kind 20, so they won't be visible there.

They will be visible for every client which supports kind 20
