Nostr is eating up bandwidth which is a huge problem over cellular networks. I suspect a lot of content is downloaded simultaneously from many relays over and over again instead of having clever caching and optimization. Are devs working on solutions to this?

Yes, the more posts you make, the more data you upload. I've already used 25 gigabytes of cellular data. The good thing for now is that when you switch from Wi-Fi to cellular, the client can cut off most relays, leaving one, and then automatically switch back to all relays when you're in Wi-Fi. #[2]
