I used to have people ask a lot why I never started or ran a website. I'd point out examples of the headaches owners run in to from Neogaf, to 4chan, to SomethingAwful, or Kiwifarms. Soon the manipulation will hit maddening levels and it'll lead to "mics in the wall" paranoia of not trusting anyone. I actually feel a bit bad for him.
