Jews have a staying power by decentralizing via diaspora. That also puts them in the unenviable position of being associated with terrorists, cheaters and liars that existed before and after the state of Israel. Hasbara ensures mixing of peaceful, moral Jews with those with a (information and/or kinetic) war stance. That is their burden, you can't be apologetic to it.
