Guys - excellent discussion. I guess this back and forth is very important because at the end we all want #nostr to be #trackingFree, #censorshipResistant and #user-friendly..

At the same time , there must be some incentive for #relays and #clients .. if that means sharing some usage information with clients like #yakihonne , that is a much better option than sharing data with #bigTech ..

My question is - if you deploy #Google Analytics on a web pages ..does that information go to Google or to website admin ( yakihonne ) in this case ?

And also , what do yakihonne do with that information..do they share that data with writers? ....saying this because , I haven't yet seen any intrusive ads on the yakihonne client ...

Dashboard is on Google. But, aside of light Yakihonne that has Google as analytics tool which assist in searchability and 2 confirmed cookies, sdk for metatags possibly and rich previews on traditional social media websites and all of them being front page insertion that is visible, Flycat uses 6 of them buried as a storage, NoStrudel up to 7 and njump who claims to be all gluten free with no client scripts involved (statement on their front page) uses Umami pro tracking. These scripts that they use allow maybe faster loading, yes, from a server side it takes off a load of data, but not always, but it also puts a strain on third party sharing and on the user's browser load so things get glitchy. Yakihonne can build far better self-reliant script and completely ditch sdk and external analytics.

Sometimes , some of these tracking tools come in when you implement some copied code ... I recall when I launched my own web2 website , ( gita.shutri.com ) , I went a great deal of digging up to make sure it was totally trackers and cookies free .. could you please take a look and confirm my position :-) ..

saying this cuz I guess I need to be cookie and trackers free before I go out and ask others :-) .. requesting cuz seems like you have deep tech abilities in this space whereas I am primarily a freedom writer ....cheers

Noted your comment that the subdomain and main domain don't fit in very well :-) .. that is because I still need to figure out what to do with main domain ( shutri.com ) .. may be a nostr client someday :-)

As regards to color , yes Yellow is intense but that is the color of Gold too :-) I will take as much Gold as you wanna give me anyday :-)
