Is there a word for the feeling of longing for a place you’ve never been? Probably German. I woke this morning from the deepest dreams I’ve had in years, and I can’t shake them.
An English word I come back to a lot is yearning, although that word alone isn’t enough

There needs to be a better way to explain longing for a place you haven’t been, missing a person you don’t know, yearning for something that you’re not even sure exists.
