It depends how you do it. A while back, I sent 21 sats every 6 blocks to a few wallets. Most of the people thought it was cool, but some people call it spam.

The other thing is that sometimes giving small gifts hijacks monkey brain instincts and compels them to give you money. I read that in the book Influence.

So I guess I don't know yet.

I'm worried about it coming across as spam. That's the main reason I asked this question.

Some people do. It's par for the course.

In certain contexts, I think it's cool. Example, someone posted a note asking people what they spend Bitcoin sats on. I zapped the note with "Buy my jerky πŸ₯©"

I agree. I think that's a pretty good use of this model.

I also want more people to know about businesses that accept Bitcoin. Maybe I should vibe code a Bitcoin only classified ad that does the opposite.

If someone really loves your beef jerky they zap your store 50 sats.⚑⚑⚑⚑⚑ If your jerky is okay, they zap you 30 sats⚑⚑⚑.

Maybe we could even filter it using our WOT to avoid sat-spamming. πŸ˜‚

I love sat spam. Gimme all your neglected small sats if you don't want them!

Some people do love sat spam.🀣 I automatically send my wife 21 sats every day. πŸ˜ƒ
