Seeing several people post npubs without @-tagging them. Is there a client rendering those as usernames, or do people just not know to put the @ at the beginning?

Can't remember for sure but it's done it for me without putting @ but probably didn't render right to everyone else.

What client are you using? Sounds like yours isn't catching and rendering properly. I don't see naked npubs on Amethyst

Damus requires @ at the beginning or shows plain text. Does Amethyst not require that?

Lol it’s funny how inconsistencies in little things like that really make a difference. The only way for a Damus user to know who’s being tagged if there’s no @ is to copy it and go to global and search for the npub. FYI #[4]
