It's still the most privileged time to be alive. The only thing stopping community from forming is people who are addicted to the internet or TV. Or who take enough antidepressants that they don't need as much socialization. That's how I look at it.

And the fact that most people just cannot afford to do it, and the fact that any attempt to gatekeep any community with a method other than price will get you arrested for racism.
