Imagine a world where we only had appstores for software distribution, where you need permission to ship software to your users. We’re moving toward this and it’s pretty sad.
It seems like this is pretty much where we’re at now, with the exception of some nerds

This is my point. Never had these permissioned appstores when i was growing up. Things are regressing, hopefully it’s not going to get worse.
