I never suggest buying Bitcoin to someone who has never heard of it and suddenly asks me for information.
Better to propose the ideal for which Bitcoin was born, then everyone decides whether to delve deeper or ignore it.
Having been on the receiving end of those talks for a long time and seeing the passion with which that person spoke, I will never understand why others on the receiving end may see it as flawed. I knew nothing about Bitcoin at the time and yet I'd even bring up the topic when I saw that person down because I knew it was the one thing that would light up those eyes.
Even if the receiving end don't care about it, I'd never comprehend the shaming part - it's like shaming others for speaking about their dreams and goals in life.
